the last page of the scrapbook of our trip to New Brunswick in July. A friend accused me of procrastinating deliberately. Friend was right. It’s done, I’ll treasure those memories forever and ever.
Have Friday off this week. Been making quite a few long weekends by booking Fridays lately. Took the week off before Easter, I think that’s what started the trend. Think I could get used to being retired real quick.
Took a bus trip to Scrapfest in Kitchener with Colleen Connors Saturday. We met up with Carol Lee Semczyszyn at the event. She signed up for the crop portion, won a gazillion prizes and had the time of her life! I had signed up for a stamping class with Cathie Allan. Enjoyed it, layout was great, gave me some ideas. Too bad that it also cut into shopping time at the marketplace. Trying to talk Scottie into going up to see his buddy Terry next year and getting a hotel room close to the event. Figure I could drop him with Terry, they could have a great visit and some drinks, I’d go crop with Lee and Colleen and then I’d pick him up and go back to the room. He’s always saying he wants to go and look at the old haunts in Kitchener, he could drop me off the next day at the arena, and go look around at whatever he wants, then pick me up at the end. Ha ha, planned the whole thing out. Anyway, really up to him. Otherwise, I’ll just go up with the girls and have fun regardless.
This weekend meeting up with Janice Caves, Lee, Colleen and my sister for a visit, drinks and fun. Life is good.
