Here we are, way back when at Presqu’ile. We would fix a picnic supper the night before, pick up the girls from the sitter after work, load up the bikes and drive off to Presqu’ile. If we didn’t go riding at Presqu’ile, sometimes we would all go riding single file up the Old Wooler road. I’ll never forget the time poor Jacqui went over on that road, and right into the ditch. She used to get annoyed because I’d ride behind her to make sure she was ok. That particular day she make me ride in front of her. I turned to look to see if she was ok. There she was, riding along and kind of annoyed that I peeked. I looked again shortly after, and she was gone. Had fallen right over in the ditch, and was so little she had disappeared. She let me ride behind her again after that.
