Here is Mom all dolled up for New Year’s Eve. The first photo is New Year’s 1966, in Marville France. The other two are late 60s, early 70s in Middleton Park, Trenton in the PMQs. Paper is by Bo Bunny. I made the layout in a class at Great Lakes Mega Meet, where I went with my friend Colleen Halpern. Was a blast.
Well, actually, didn’t finish the layout in the class. There was a lot of cutting for the medallions. I placed quite a few of the rhinestones on while I was visiting Cara after the meet.
Above is the sketch those girls from Sketchy Thursdays provided this past week.
Below is my interpretation. Paper is Fancy Pants Delight Spice. Rubons My Mind’s Eye.
Here is a sketch to use for a layout or card. I’d love to see what you do with it. Please post a link to your interpretation in the comments area for this post so that we can all peek at it!!! I’ll be posting a new sketch the first Tuesday of every month for us to have a bit of fun with! The best scrappy interpretation of this sketch will be featured on this blog, and we’ll see about a draw for a scrappy treat in upcoming months!
Please don’t use this sketch, other than to participate in this activity or for your own personal scrapbooking satisfaction without writing me for permission and describing the use you wish to make of it. I can make high resolution files available for your use when I agree.
