Here is my interpretation of it featuring my mother Mary Allain Wride at her late 1950s, early 1960s model Singer sewing machine. Photo was likely taken at our apartment on Dufferin Street in Trenton in late 1950s, early 1960s. I used paper, embellishments and rub-ons by October Afternoon from their Thrift Shop line. Paper is Thrift Shop Last One. This paper reminds me so much of the old Simplicity patterns my Mom and I used for our sewing. I love that retro look !!!
