Julie Tucker-Wolek over at these are a few of my favorite things has her new challenge posted and it is These are a Few of my Favorite Games!
I’ve never been much of a game player, I get bored with them fast and want to do something more creative … but I waste a lot of time when I am procrastinating on an assignment or in getting a layout done by playing Scramble on Facebook. I tell myself it is educational and keeps my mind sharp. Whatever … but I just cannot break my high score set sometime last year, no matter how much I procrastinate. As in all games … I suck!
Here’s my layout using Sassafrass paper, glamour mist sprays and Basic Grey letters:

My son Chris Pennington and daughter Mary Pennington have always enjoyed music, whether they are playing it or listening to it. This layout shows them as children hanging out with their friends and putting together a little rock band to play for the day. What a bunch of cuties! These photos were taken in January 2004 – Chris and Mary are in high school now, but still rocking! Chris is now playing with a band with some high school friends. They are having a great time, and we love supporting them.
Here is my layout using photos of that fun day in 2004. The layout is based on the Sketchy Thursday sketch below that was put out by those fabulous scrappy ladies this weeek! Paper used was Rock on Love by Prima Marketing. Embellishments also from Prima and K & Company Rock Star.
