Julie, over at These are a Few of my Favorite Things has a new challenge on, and that is to scrap your (or someone else’s) favourite childhood toy. Go on over and check out the her challenge. (I LOVE THEM!!!).
My Mom took me to see the Mary Poppins movie when I was 6 or 7 years old, then bought me the record of the soundtrack. I sang every song and danced every dance from the movie every chance I had. That Christmas I was so thrilled when she gave me a Mary Poppins doll for Christmas. I treasured her. Unfortunately she disappeared, as did most of my childhood momentos, during one of our moves. We were overseas in France when I was given her, and we were not allowed to move much back to Canada, I suspect she was one of the items my parents purged. I found a similar doll on Ebay – but sure wish I could find the same doll again …
Here is my layout for Julie’s challenge

I based the layout on this week’s Sketchy Thursday sketch:
I used Crate Paper Emma’s Shop Collection Inventory paper and embellishments for this layout.
