Time to sit down and post a couple of recent layouts that I created at Crop and Create Cornwall to enter into some of their layout competitions at the event. This one is using the new Bo Bunny line that I bought from my friend Laura at Sweet Sentiments at the event. The layout was for Scrapbooks and Cards Today’s “Something Old, New, Borrowed, Blue” competition. Unfortunately I didn’t read all the directions – as well as incorporating all the suggestions in the competition title – you also had to use the sketch provided … sigh …
Anyway – loving the new Bo Bunny Zip-A-Dee-Doodle – what a great name for a paper line!!!! This layout features my daughter Mary Pennington.
I used one of my favourite tricks of cutting the shaped and pics out of papers in the line to make my embellishments. After cutting out the flowers, shapes etc. that you want from the paper, add some ink around the edges to pop it or smooth out any ooopsies – add some pop dots to some of the new embellies for dimension – and you have an economical layout for the cost of a couple of sheets of paper!!!
Another layout is coming soon!!!
