White With 1 has a fabulous challenge this month and it is to use the colour opera mauve with white:
Here is my take on it – the colours are not coming out true in the light I took the photo with, but it is definitely opera mauve. The photo features my super awesome and much loved grandchildren Emma Delage and Robert Campbell.
Our son Chris Pennington’s 14th birthday – celebrated at his favourite place to celebrate – Presqu’ile Park in Brighton Ontario. We usually camped at the same time as his birthday , so Chris came to really enjoy celebrating the occasion there with family and friends. Here are some photos of he, his grandmother, friend David.
This layout was done for White With 1’s August challenge to use a mask and pastel colours along with the predominant colour of white.
White With 1 has a challenge this month that is white, with pink, with hearts! In could not resist scrapping a gorgeous photo of our daughter Stephanie Pennington and her husband Josh Clifton for this challenge. I used the Love Struck Cricut cartridge for the titling and the heart and wings. My inked background patterns are made with Balzer Designs 6 x 6 templates and Ranger Distress Inks. Here’s my entry:

I created this layout for Scrap Africa – whose challenge is to use postage stamps, Get Creative – who had a sketch challenge which I used to inspire this layout, and the White with 1 layout which was to use the colours red and blue with white.
Here’s the layout:
